This is a brief seminar demonstrating the use of the SuperCollider programming language within different compositional contexts. No prior knowledge on a code-based environment is required. The presenters will cover 3 themes according to their research at SARC and present approaches that have been fruitful for them and which may be of interest to fellow composers/researchers.

We're following up the success of our circuit-bending workshop in February with another great event--coming next week!

If you haven't yet heard, next Wednesday, 29th April, will be our Ableton Live workshop. This is an introductory workshop--no previous experience is necessary. Experienced Live users will be at the workshop, however, so there will be something for any everyone. Just bring along your laptop, and trial software will be provided. The Ableton folks in Dublin have been kind enough to provide us with five extended trial copies of Live, as well as some other goodies that will be up for grabs on the night. The fun kicks off at 6pm in the Queen's Students' Union, Clubroom 2.

Following the workshop at 9pm, there will be an aftershow party with live acts and DJs in the Bunatee Bar at the Queen's Students' Union. Hope to see you there. Email us if you have any questions!
